| Volleyball: PG Deptts in final | | | Early Times Reporter

The combined side of Post Graduate (PG) Departments of University of Jammu today entered into the final of ongoing inter-college volleyball tournament beating an equally good side of Degree College Kathua at University of Jammu courts, here.
Defending champion, Kathua College were never in a mood to give up and fought for every single point, especially in the opening set. Levelled at 18-18, Kathua boys put in great efforts but lost the set 22-25 to PG Departments. Similarly, they lost the following two sets after giving close fight. The score: 25-22, 25-20, 25-19.
Anil Sharma, Vishal Sharma and Kamran Butt remained in limelight for their exceptional skills from winners PG Departments. Roshan Lal made good efforts for Kathua College throughout the game.
Today’s semi-final was officiated by Shashi Sharma, Mulkh Raj and Madhuri Jamwal. This tournament is organized by the Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu. |
