| BJP protest against price hike | | | Early Times Reporter

As a mark of protest against sky-rocketing prices of the essential commodities, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) held a massive demonstration here today.
During the demonstration, party activists led by BJP Distt Secretary, Karan Singh with empty cooking vessels in their hands, raised slogans against the Cong led coalition govt for its alleged failure to check hike in the prices of various essential commodities.
Speaking on the occasion, state president, BJP Ashok Khajuria said that the steep rise in the prices is the result of anti poor policies of the Congress led coalition govt.
Terming the six year BJP rule at centre, as golden period, he said that there was no price rise during the party rule and every Indian was in a position to feed his family.
Among others who addressed during the protest were MLA, Jugal Kishore, Yudhvir Sethi, Kavinder Gupta, Balbir Ram, Subash Jandial and Pawan Khajuria. |
