Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 5: The home ministry has reportedly directed the Chief Minister Mehooba Mufti to be cautious in her tweet. It was communicated to her after the CM tweeted about the Shopian firing had already established that the they were 'civilians'.
The sources said that the tweets of the CM which had earlier sparked the controversy over the murder and rape of Asifa were being noticed and when she tweeted about the incident she was sent a genteel reminder.
"The CM had already been communicated to be extra careful in her tweets. But, sadly she once again jumped to the conclusion and stoked another controversy. It's either she or her team that is not taking seriously how her single tweet can change the political discourse in the state," said the sources.
"The CM has been communicated that since she is holding a constitutional and heading the state, she can't be seen acting like an opposition member taking on the government that too even her own," said the sources.
The sources said that it 's also verifying that if the tweets were typed by her or she communicated her intentions about it and then some how her team just jumped the conclusion.
"CM should be political conscious and we believe it's unlikely she tweeted herself. So we are trying to verify and know who are her team members handling social media," said the sources.
The sources said that state BJP is also increasing nervous as tweets by the CM may help her save some constituency in her home but they do hurt the party in Jammu region.,
"CM must understand that she is not heading a single party but a coalition government so before tweeting she must understand its implication from our point of view too," said the sources.
