| ‘Successive Govts responsible for backwardness’ | | | Early Times Reporter

Former MLA from Gurez SM Khan had said that the successive govts at state are responsible for the backwardness and under development of the area. While addressing a press conference here today Khan said that many times the deputation of the people of the area had called on the concerned ministers for the development of the area.
He added that as the population of the area has increased manifolds, yet the strength of school and hospital have not been increased proportionally. As a result, the people of the area are forced to cover a long distance for their treatment. He warned the authorities that if the govt continues to turn deaf ear, the people of the area will have no option than to adopt the path of agitation. |
