| Two killed in road accidents, body recovered, youth missing | | | Early Times Reporter

Two persons were killed, several other suffered injuries in separate road accidents while a body was recovered in Katra.
According to reports a lady identified as Pushpa Devi w/o Mohan Lal resident of Ramkot was hit by a Mohindra vehicle causing serious injuries. She succumbed to her injuries while being shifted to GMC Hospital here.
FIR has been registered at PP Ramkote in this connection.
In another such mishap Alto Car bearing NO JK08A-9464 crashed while hitting
Ralling on a bridge at Maggar Khad in Kathua resulting on the spot death of a youth identified as Deepak Kumar son of Subash Chand Sharma of Irrigation Colony Kathua while two others including Sham Murli son of Prakash Chand of Hamirpur and Kamal Singh son of Baldev Singh of Ward No 2 suffered injuries.
The body of the deceased was handed over to family members after conducting postmortem.
In two other separate accidents five persons who sustained injuries were shifted to District Hospital Kathua.
According to reports three persons namely Neeraj Kumar and Shri Ram of Barnoti and Vijay Kumar of Sakechak Kathua suffered injuries when hit by a truck near CTM while Laxman Singh of Barnoti got injured when hit b y a speedy car. All the injured have been shifted to DH Kathua for treatment.
The report further said that a body of Munshi Ram son of Jodu resident of Dadura was recovered under the jurisdiction of P/S Kathua and police has started inquest proceedings u/s 174 Cr PC.
In the meantime a 19 year Kaysar Jalani @ Raja son of Afzal Kabir presently residing at Poonch House Talab Tilloo Jammu is reportedly missing since yesterday and police has taken cognizance and efforts are on to trace him. |
