| JKSGEF asks employees to remain united | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 24 Jammu and Kashmir State Government Employees Federation Jammu has called upon the employees of Jammu region to remain united and not to fall pray to the malicious propaganda of some vested interests, who are out to create wedge between the employees. Clarifying the confusion created by some vested interests, G L Chanda General Secretary of the Federation said that while the Federation does not oppose the call given by a section of employees from Kashmir division but at the same time it strongly condemns the misuse of the pious banner of employees ‘JAC’ as no such committee has been constituted in Jammu division till date. Chanda in a press statement said today JKSGEF whole heartedly congratulated the employees committees and the employees leaders of different department in Jammu division who stood with the basic spirit of EJAC, the joint struggle involving each and every section in the interest of the employees and stressed upon the splinter group from Kashmir not to misuse the name of ‘Employees Joint Action Committee Jammu’ for their personal motives. The General Secretary reiterated the demands of the Federation which included re absorption of retrenched employees of Excise and Commercial Tax Department, enhancing the retirement age to 60 years, full pensionery benefits after 21 years of service, regularization of all contractual, adhoc, temporary, consolidated, daily wagers and community workers. |
