| Industrialists protest against finance bill | | | Early Times Reporter

The members of various industrial associations organized a rally against the finance bill here today. The members in the shape of rally marched towards the district commissioner’s office and submitted the memorandum of their demands to DC Sarita Chouhan.
The industrialists demanded for the amendment in number of workers which is at present five to 10 workers to cover under the employees’ provident fund (EPF) act and appealed for emending act to cover the organizations, which had employed minimum 2 employees.
Speaking on the occasion, president of the industrialist association, Mohinder Singh said that the similar memorandum would be submit to the chief minister for his approval.
Among others who participate in rally were, Bansi Lal, O.P Khajuria and Prithpal. |
