| No traffic restrictions on R-day: DC | | | Early Times Reporter

Apprising the Republic Day preparations with a pledge to make it a success, the District Development Commissioner, Jammu Hirdesh Kumar Singh said that every arrangement has been made as per the convenience of general masses.
Addressing a press conference here this afternoon, Deputy Commissioner informed that utmost efforts have been made for comfortable transportation of public to the venue to ensure maximum participation. For the first time, there are no traffic restrictions in the entire city except in and around the main venue. For Parking of private vehicles proper parking slots have been kept at Jammu Haat, Exhibition ground and cultural Academy which can accommodate about 4500 vehicles. Traffic cops have been deployed to guide the public vehicles to appropriate parking places.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh apprised the media persons about the Republic day programme at MA Stadium. He appealed to the public to participate in large number so the public to participate in large number so as to make the national event a great success.
