| Working Groups recommendations lack vision; alleges Gupta | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 25 Expressing his dismay over the plight of the rural lot, especially those living in the border areas, the former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Prof C L Gupta said that despite massive funding by the Centre there is little development on the ground and even the basic amenities are missing in these areas. After touring border area of Hirya Chak and other places of Jammu-Kathua, Gupta alleged that many of the Central schemes taken during the NDA rule have been shelved by the UPA led Congress government. Referring to the much talked about establishment of Working Groups, Prof Gupta said much of the recommendations made by the Congress dominated formations ‘lack vision’ and the ‘experiences of the past’ adding ‘the manner in which the ruling leaders are moving would create more problems than any good to the national interests’. |
