| Mir expresses grief over Rajouri accident | | |
Srinagar, Aug 24 : Former Minister and MLA Tangmarg Ghulam Hassan Mir has expressed his utmost grief over the tragic road accident in Rajouri.
In a joint statement by Mir, MLA Beerwah Sarfaraz Khan and senior PDP leader Ghulam Qadir Pardesi, the leaders have termed the accident as heartrending. They expressed their sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the accident. Mir asked the government to speed up the repair and metalling of the road in the area, as they are always prone to these kinds of accidents.
He said that the area is hilly and far-off; therefore it needs more attention than the plain roads. The leaders also asked the government to make all out arrangements for the best treatment to the injured persons. He said that the entire state's sympathy is with the affected people at this hour of crisis.
Mir also greeted the people on the occasion of the Mehraj–un–Nabi and hoped that the day will bring in with it the prosperity and peace for the people of the state. |
