| Panthers stage walkout, demand imposition of governor rule | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 28 Amid din and commotion over the alleged irregularities in the state forest department, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party MLAs today staged a walkout from the state legislative assembly on Monday demanding imposition of governor's rule in the state. As the opposition members from National Conference were protesting against the government for its "failure to remove the tainted minister", Panther's Party chief whip Harsh Dev Singh was seen displaying a banner in the Legislative Assembly, here on Monday. Holding the banner, demanding dismissal of the coalition government and imposition of governor's rule, the Panthers Party MLAs staged a walkout of the House. |
