| Sagar accuses govt. of misusing state resources | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 30 Accusing coalition government of misusing the resources of state, Ali Mohammed Sagar has said that the present dispensation has no right to continue as its twenty two ministers including fourteen still in office are facing corruption charges in various courts of the state. Addressing Media persons in a press conference shortly after the house was adjourned for the second time on Wednesday, Sagar said that the present corrupt government has created chaos all around and in a given situation they have no right to rule the state. "There are cases against twenty two ministers including the fourteen sitting ones in accountability commission and various courts across the state which amply makes it clear that the present government has lost the right to govern the state any more," Sagar added. He further said that inspite of paying any heed to legitimate demands of the opposition; government today moved a motion on demands for grants and later on passed it. "They should have at least listened to us as the representatives of people of the state but instead of doing so they moved a motion on demand for grants which clearly proves that they suppressed the genuine voice of the opposition," he said. The government should quit on the grounds that it has proved to be a total failure and should pave the way for fresh elections in the state, Sagar demanded. |
