BJP demands appointment of commission on corruption

Welcoming the demonstration of the opposition National Conference against political corruption in and outside the legislature, activists of the Bharitya Janta Party has suggested that let the campaign to catch the culprits start from Bathindi, Sunjwan and Sidhra in Jammu and Bemina in Srinagar.
According to a press release, Seth said that thousand of palatial structures and bungalows have come up in the recent past in these localities. 90% of these have been raised upon encroached forest and other state lands and there was no permission or approval for construction of the building neither by the civic bodies no JDA/SDA, the press release added.
Seth further demanded the appointment of a commission of enquiry headed by a judge of the Supreme Court, he added and expressed confidence that many of the big thieves including former and present ministers would mind in the dark.
