| President Cup: JCC to meet FCC tomorrow | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 30 Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), after completing the repair work on the damaged outfield, has decided to resume the President Cup cricket tournament from February Ist at GGM Science College Hostel ground here. “The competition which was halted after the occupation of the ground by the security forces in connection with Republic Day is going to resume from February Ist,” organizing secretary of the tournament, Sunit Sharma told Sports & Allied News. He further said that the first match shall be played between Jammu Cricket Club and Friends Cricket Club at 9 am on the given date. It is pertinent to mention here that the outfield was badly damaged by the security agencies of the Jammu and Kashmir Police to prepare the ground for making it a parking lot for the Republic Day function at MA Stadium, here. |
