| CB presents charge sheet against three Woolen Mill employees | | ‘Cloth worth lakhs of rupees misappropriated’ | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 30 Crime Branch has separately charge sheeted three accused in misappropriation of cloth worth lakhs of rupees from Bemina Woolen Mills, Srinagar during different periods. During investigation of the case registered under FIR NO 66/03 in connection with discrepancies like short accountals, movement of materials from finishing stores to excise paid go down and from various outlets on fake invoices through illegal channels noticed during stock verification, it was established that cloth valuing at lakhs of rupees has been misappropriated by three employees of Government Woollen Mills Bemina. The accused had been identified as Ghulam Nabi Paul son of Mohammed Sultan of Narkara Badgam, Fayaz Ahmed Shah s/o Ali Mohammed r/o Umer Heer Buchpora Srinagar and Fayaz Ahmed Bhat s/o Ghulam Nabi Bhat Bagander Payeen Chattabal Srinagar. The cost of the misappropriated cloth has been partly recovered from these employees by the concerned department. On the establishment of charges, the Crime Branch has presented three separate charge sheets against all the accused before the Court of Judge of Small Causes Srinagar. |
