| Assad welcomes Dy. CM’s statement on employment | | | Early Times Reporter

Welcoming the statement of Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffar Hussain Baig that about 80,000 educated youth would be provided jobs during the current year, Bashir Assad, General Secretary PDP, Youth Wing said that step shall go a long way in addressing the unemployment problem in the state which has increased manifold due to inefficiency and indecisiveness of the previous governments.
Assad further said that this would be the first step in addressing the problems of the youth as envisaged in the “Youth Development Policy” of PDP.
“PDP was committed to address the contents of marginalization and alienation of the youth of the state, enabling them to contribute enormously in nation building” Bashir Assad said and asserted that PDP’s pledge for education, employment and empowerment of the youth of the state was sure to bring peace and prosperity to the state with the active participation of the youth.
Assad underlined the urgency for revamping the whole education system in the state to meet the actual requirements of the state. He urged upon the government to harvest the huge natural resources available in the state for the revival of the otherwise shattered economy in the state.
The deputationists appreciated the work done by the Minister in Jammu West Constituency, being its MLA, and hoped that he would continue to serve the people with same dedication and sincerity. |
