| Dismiss state’s coalition Govt.: Chaman | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 1 Expressing his disappointment over abrupt ending of the budget session of the state legislature after adopting the demand for grants of many debarments as also to appropriation bill in a hush-hush manner with few minutes, the former union minister and senior leader of BJP, Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta has urged upon the state governor to dismiss this dispensation and create conditions for fair elections. Commenting upon the development within the just ended session, Gupta said that the assembly of the state has already become over 63 months old whereas the life of any assembly in the rest of country is only 60 months. He further said that this coalition is proving a curse upon the people and the happenings in the assembly well indicate the mangers of the coalition have failed to guard the democratic procedures. BJP leader observed that the regional disparities especially the political domination of Kashmir over Jammu and added that time has come for fresh delimitation of the assembly constituencies, he added. |
