| CM inspects work on legislature, museum complexes | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar | Feb 1 Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today inspected the pace of progress on the two major projects of the State Legislature complex and the new museum building. Immediately after arriving here from Jammu, the Chief Minister visited the upcoming legislature complex in front of the civil secretariat and went through various floors to see the progress of the construction. The project would cost Rs. 22 crore. The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction over the status of the construction and said that the next session of the legislature in Srinagar would be held in the new complex in May. The Chief Minister also visited the under-construction Rs. 28 crore museum complex at Lal Mandi and said it would be the first museum to be completed in a record time of one year. Advisor to Chief Minister, Manzoor Ahmad Ganai, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Mehboob Iqbal and Managing Director, JKPCC, Dileep Thusoo accompanied the Chief Minister during his inspection of the development projects. |
