43 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion (Rajputana Rifles) under the aegis of 13 Sector Rashtriya Rifles organised a Student Awareness and Integration Camp today at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Thanamandi. The aim of the camp was to generate awareness amongst the youth and educate them about the employment opportunities available in the country today with special emphasis on the Armed Forces as well as various other employment avenues in the business and corporate sectors. It also provided an opportunity and a platform for students of different schools of Thanamandi Tehsil to interact with each other.
Approximately 1000 students and teachers of 12 schools of Thanamandi Tehsil participated in the camp. The department of District Industries Centre, Rajouri, Zonal Education Officer, Jammu and Kashmir Bank, set up their stalls alongwith an ‘Army Information Kiosk’ at the Awareness Camp. The camp was inaugurated by Commander 13 Sector RR. The main attractor of the camp was display of “Military Hardware”. |
