| Balwant inaugurates Arts-In-Education workshop | | | Early Times Reporter

First Ever Arts-In-Education workshop organized by North Zone cultural centre, Department of culture in collaboration with Natrang was inaugurated today by Natrng Director Balwant Thakur at Natrang Studio Theatre. Moazzam Ali, an artist of Theatre –In Education company of National School of Drama, New Delhi will be the director of the workshop.
Speaking on the occasion, Natrang Director Balwant Thakur said that a new concept of theatre is being introduced in Jammu through this workshop. In this concept of thatere the adult actors will perform for children and they have set a target to reach over one lakh children through the inaugural series of shows he added.
Workshop director Mozzam Ali while explaining on his concept said that they should attempt to train children as far as they can, to see as to look, to hear as well as to listen.. The workshop will also benefit the Natarngs Children weekend Club members in developing techniques of children’s personality. |
