| DBPS submits memorandum of demands | | | Early Times Reporter

The dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) staged a massive protest rally in front of Raj Bhawan here today.
The protest was organized under the chairmanship of president DBPS Dev Raj Baru who said that it is the need of hour that the government should scrap the caste based reservation. He stressed over the need to introduce reservation on the basis of economic background.
He urged upon the state government to declare a public holiday on the occasion of Parshu Ram Jayanti.
Later on the members of the Sabha, submitted a memorandum of their demands to the governor. Others members of the delegation were Romesh Sharma, Surinder Sharma, Suresh Sharma, Varinder Majotra, Gurdass Sharma, Ravi Sharma and Jagdish Dogra. |
