Beating Government SPMR College of Commerce by one wicket in the ongoing President Cup cricket tournament, United Cricket Club (UCC) Udhampur today advanced into the next round at GGM Science College hostel ground, here today.
Earlier, UCC won the toss and decided to field. Batting first Commerce College lost all their wickets for 167 runs in 37.1 over of the 40 over game, which, in reply, UCC chased in 38.2 over for the loss of nine wickets.
Anil remained he top scorer from Commerce College with 44 runs while Sachin contributed 34. Paramjeet clinched three wickets from UCC while Rajan Singh and Anjum shared two each.
Batting second, UCC attained the goal making 168 runs in 38.1 overs with one wicket in hand. Inder was highest scorer with 34 runs. Anjum and Pranav contributed unbeaten 19 and 13 runs respectively. Tauhid took three wickets for Commerce College while Pawan Singh and Rajeev bagged a piece each. |
