A Dangal was organized under the aegis of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association at R S Pura.
Rajesh Bittu, Kissan leader was the chief guest, while Taranjeet Singh Tony, National Conference leader and Ramesh Mottan, senior NC leader, Rakesh Khajuria, general secretary of the association were also present on the ocassion.
The dangal was organized in different weight categories.
In 51 kg weight category, Rawal Singh, Rakesh and Amit bagged Ist, IInd and IIIrd prizes, In 56 Kg weight category Challas Singh, Surinder Singh and Vijay Kumar bagged Ist, IInd and IIIrd prizes, In 63Kg weight category Kahadam Hussain, Sunil Kumar, Kulbir Singh bagged Ist, IInd and IIIrd prizes, In 69 Kg weight category Lava Ram, Mohd Sarif and Shamsher bagged Ist, IInd and IIIrd prizes, In 76 Kg weight category Trilochan Singh, Sonu, Darshan bagged Ist, IInd and IIIrd prizes, In 84 Kg weight category Rajeev Kumar, Shamsher Singh, Inderjeet bagged Ist, IInd and IIIrd prizes while in 96 Kg weight category Jakhar Hussain and Ashok Kumar bagged Ist, IInd prizes. The match was witnessed by thousands of local people.
