25 teachers, masters, RReTs placed under suspension for remaining absent

Jammu, Mar 31: The incharge chief education officer, Kishtwar has placed 25 teachers, masters and ReTs under suspension for unauthorised absence from their places of posting. He has also constituted a committee to probe the matter.
According to reports, Javed Ahmed Kichloo who also happens to be the Dy CEO Kishtwar vide order No. CEO/K/2018/16857-64 Dated 31-3-2018 placed 18 employees of the department under suspension which include Ghulam Mohammad Kripak, Satvir Sharma, Naresh Kumar Amar Jeet Singh, Dalbeer Singh, Mansoor Ahmed all teachers, Shafiqa Banoo, Beni Parshad both Master grade, Shahnawaz Hussain, Rafia Kulsum, Shafia Banoo & Nazir Banoo all RReTs and all the 12 employees posted at High School Keshwan.
Similarly Irshad Ahmed Kripak, Menna Kumari both RET's posted at Middle School Nagri along with Mohammad Shafi (Master), Nirdosh Kant (Teacher) and Poonam Bloria and Shafia Koursar, both RReTs posted at Middle School Bhagran Hill were also placed under suspension with immediate effect. He also ordered for withholding of the salaries of all the employees and constituted three member committee headed by Principal HSS Filler Shaista Sirwal while Headmaster HS Poochal Shambu Nath and Mohinder Kumar Headmaster will be the members of inquiry committee. In another order issued by In charge CEO Kishtwar video No. CEO/K/2018/16780-86 Dated 31-3-2018 placed two master grade Madan Lal & Hemraj along with five teachers Abdul Rashid Butt, Nazia Kouser, Arif Zarger, Viney Kumar & Shambu Nath all posted at High School Sigdi under suspension for remaining unauthorized absent from their duties. Similarly Ramesh Baboo, Sr Headmaster HS Dadpath, Headmaster Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din and Headmaster Mohinder Kumar has been assigned the job of inquiry into the matter. Meanwhile Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani who also hold the Charge of Sub Divisional Magistrate Marwah order a probe into the continuous absent of teachers from Government Middle School Ikhala. As per the order issued by ACR Kishtwar, the public of the area lodged a complaint before him claiming that the teachers posted at MS Ikhala are habitual absentees and in support of their demands produce the Xerox copies of the attendance register and astonishing it is evident from the Xerox copies that the concern ZEO and Headmaster of the said school are aware of the said absenteeism culture of teachers which indicated from the fact that the attendance register is attested by the Headmaster of the School and countersigned by the concerned ZEO, but no action has been initiated against the absentees whose signatures places were kept blank with the intension to fill it later at the time when these absentees comes to school. Following the documental evidences, ACR Kishtwar directed CEO Kishtwar to take necessary and appropriate action against the erring officials under an intimation to his office within weeks time. The erring teachers include Bali Ram Rana (Headmaster), Kiran Kumari (3 RET), Brij Balla (RReT), Mohammad Ishaq (RReT), Subash Chander (RReT), Anju Wazir (PET), Maleema Ganjoo (ReT), Vijay Kumar (ReT) and Surinder Ganjoo (RReT).
