| Yeh Lash Kiski Hai mesmerizes audience | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 3 “Yeh Lask Kiski Hai’ Balwant Thakurs new Hindi Play mesmerized the Sunady Theatre audience with its thought provoking theme and powerful acting. The play ahs the amazing dramatic structure and breathtaking situations which kept the audience spellbound throughout the performance. Visiting director from Delhi Moazzam Ali who was the special guest on the occasion appreciated the totality of script, direction and slick acting. Yeh Lash Kiski Hai ia an experimental play which exposes the greed in the society. A sutradhar is shown in street corner with a dead body requesting the passersby to identify the same. No body pays any heed to his request. Suddenly he announces that from the belongings of the dead man he found some jewelery and rupees twenty-five thousand cash. On hearing this four persons come forward claiming themselves as father, brother, son and a friend of the dead man. The situation becomes even more problematic when the claimants refuse to identify each other. Each claimant has his own story about the dead man to establish himself as the sole right holder. Having failed in convincing the sutradhar they start fighting with each other. Here comes a political leader claiming the deadman as his party worker and his belongings as party donation and accuses the opposition for killing his dedicated worker. When other claimants come out in protest, the leader changes his tone and pacifies them by assurance of getting them the equal share. All as a united group move to the Sutradhar and claim the dead body and his belongings. Here Sutradhar gives a new turn to the whole episode by revealing that it was just a theatre to expose the greed. The claimants are not convinced by his intentions and kill him in hope to get the money and jewellery. Finally dead man gets up and puts his shroud on sutradhar and requests the public to identify him by saying that he is on who is being killed by everywhere. Sutradhar was played with confidence by Gaurav jamwal where as others acted successfully as Rohit verma, Pankush Verma , Hemant Bhola and Rahul Singh . Mohi Sharma presented good histrionics he was well supported by Shabana. InderPal Singh palyed as dead body.
