President of National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) has appealing to the union finance minister to raise the income tax exemption limit to Rs. 2 lakh, during a workers meet held here today.
He urged upon the Prime Minister and union finance minister to release the pending installment of DA which is due from January this year in favour of centre government employees as well as state government employees. Shastri also demanded that the centre government should provide a special package to the deficit state like Jammu and Kashmir for meeting the expenditure as the implementation of 6th pay commission is on cards. During the meet in other demands including grant of distributed are allowance enhancement in the wages of daily wagers and their regularization were also discussed.
Among those spoke on the occasion were Rajan Babu, Sunil Kochar, Sham Lal Sharma, Bodh Raj Sharma, Mohan Lal and Parshotam Kumar.
