Cancer screening camp held

A free cancer screening camp by the Aarogyam polyclinic was held here today. During the camp around 40 patients were screened and out of which 10 patients were detected with the said disease.
The patients get consultant from Radiation oncology and cancer specialist Dr. Deepak Abrol. The patients who detected with such diseases were asked to visit the camp again for their follow check up next week.
Speaking on the occasion, Sudanshu Sharma said that such type of similar camps for the awareness among the general people would also be organized in the future.
He further added that a similar type of free pulse polio camp for the children would be established by the polyclinic and children would get treatment under the supervision of Dr. Sanjeev Dingra, a child specialist.
