| Four hardcore militants nabbed | | |
Imphal, Aug 25 Four hardcore cadres of different militant groups were apprehended by police and Assam Rifles in separate incidents during the past 24 hours.
A cadre of Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) was apprehended by troops of 32 Assam Rifles during a search operation, Assam Rifles officials said.
Incriminating documents containing extortion details were recovered from the arrested cadre.
In a separate incident a cadre of People's Revolutionary party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) was apprehended by a combined team of Moirang police commandos and 6 Jat Regiment .
In another incident Imphal West commandos nabbed two cadres of Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA).
