Poonch, Apr 4: Block Medical Officer Mendhar charge sheeted three doctors, four para medics and placed under suspension 4 technicians for remaining absent from duty unauthorisedly during his visit to several health centres in sub division Mendhar, reports said here today. BMO Mendhar, Dr Pervez Ahmed today undertook an extensive tour of various health centres including PHC Bhatadhurian, New type PHC Naka Majhari, PHC Dhargaloon and PHC Mankote and found several doctors, para medics and other staff absent from duty unauthorisedly.
Taking serious note of the matter BMO chargesheeted three doctors which include Dr Kousar Kabir Bala (Dental Surgeon), Dr Ubid ul Rehman (MO NHM) and Dr Nargis and employees who have been charge sheeted included Ab Hanief (Pharmacist), Safeena Akhter (Staff Nurse), Mohd Ashraf (Dawagaz NAH) Nazreen Akhter (Jr staff Nurse NHM) All chargesheeted employees have been attached to SD Hospital Mendhar the sources said.
It is pertinent to mention that Early Times had raised the issue in a previous publication and the department taking cognizance of the report and the action followed. The other four employees who have been suspended by the BMO include Khalid Abdullah and Faraz Rashid (Lab technicians), Parveen Akhter (Block Health Worker) and Mohd Rafiq (Nursing orderly) Salary of all the four has been with held the source added.
The BMO intends to take strict action against the erring officials. |
