| Mangat for upto date infrastructure for Physiotherapy | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 4 Minister for Health and Medical Education Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma instructed health authorities to come out with a concrete proposal for building Physiotherapy infrastructure in Jammu and submit the same to the government for its early approval so that the under training students of Bachelor of Physio Therapy (BPT) would not face problems in future during their training. He was chairing a high level meeting of the officers of health department, convened to discuss the demands of Bachelor of Physiotherapy under training students in Government Medical College Jammu. Minister of state for Health and Medical Education Peer Mohammad Hussain, Secretary Health and Medical Education Mr. K. B. Jandial, Principal GMC Jammu Dr. Rajinder Singh, officers of various faculties of GMC besides representatives of Physiotherapy students attended the meeting. The meeting was informed that Rs. 10 lakh have been kept available under revenue component for engagement of tutors for teaching Physiotherapy subjects in GMC. It was decided that four tutors would be engaged on contractual basis to facilitate BPT students and Principal GMC were asked to arrange some library books related to Physiotherapy out of library funds for under going training students. |
