| Dental college OPD resumes work | | CM assures DCI recognition | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 5 The OPD section of Indira Gandhi Government Dental College resumed work today after five days of strike by the students of the college. The students were on strike seeking recognition of their degrees. According to reports, the work in the OPD of the college was resumed today following a assurance from the Chief Minister that the courses being offered by the college would soon get recognition from Dental Council of India (DCI). Earlier, the students of the college had called on the chief minister here today and highlited their grievances. President Dental Students Association (DSA), however said that the strike of the students would continue till a final decision in this regard is taken by the state government. |
