Big 92.7 FM marked world cancer day today with a campaign pleading smokers to quit smoking.
As per a press release, Big FM volunteers dressed as skeletons moved around the city spreading the message of the ill-effects of smoking.
People from across the city came forward to pledge quit smoking and the volunteers and jockeys of the FM station were a part of rally that moved across the city educating the citizens about the ill effects of tobacco intake.
Speaking on the occasion, Jagjeet Bahri, cluster head, said through this initiative BIG FM has offered the people of the city a platform to express themselves and their need to address the ill-effects of tobacco intake, the release added. |
