A meeting of District Congress Committee was held here today under the chairmanship of Balwan Singh. The present political scenario of the state and strengthening of Congress party in Jammu district was discussed threadbare. As per a press release, it was decided that Congress workers will make aware about the policies and programmes so that maximum people should be brought in the party fold. DCC president asked party men to go to the people at the grass root level to know their difficulties. Among those present in the meeting includes Pritam Singh, Rajdev Singh Jamwal, Bashir Malik and others. |
