| PCC ranks and file behind CM in his crusade against corruption: Spokesman | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 5 PCC Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma today said that the entire rank and file of the Congress Party and all right thinking people of the state are solidly behind the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad in his crusade against corruption. Addressing series of Party meetings at Nowshera and Sunderbani during his 4-day tour of the area, Ravinder said the Chief Minister was not alone in his fight against the menace of corruption and added that people in general and all right thinking sections of the society and party men were highly appreciate of his drive against corruption. ‘Saying that nothing can weaken the resolve of the Chief Minister to eradicate corruption and expose the corrupt, Ravinder said that ‘his recent actions have further reflected the determination towards his mission despite futile attempts by certain quarters and forces who have been trapped in this drive to falsely drag his name into certain controversies’. Such forces shall not succeed in their design to malign the image of the Chief Minister and his government’, the spokesperson maintained. In the meantime, District Congress Committee Rajouri has hailed the bold initiatives of the Chief Minister to fight against corruption. The party in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its President Shabir Ahmed Khan extended its whole hearted support to the CM in his mission and asserted that rank and file of the party were fully behind Azad in his resolve against corruption. |
