Government College for Women (GCW), Parade today made it into the final of inter-college women’s badminton tournament beating Government SPMR College of Commerce 2-0 in the semi-finals at Gymnasium Hall of the University of Jammu, here.
In the first singles, Anshuj Mali Sharma bt Sana Khan while Sonia Gupta downed Saima Chowdhary in second singles.
Earlier, in the quarterfinals, played in the morning session, Commerce College outplayed Degree College Udhampur 2-1.
The results: Singles: Sana Khan bt Shivani Kesar while Saima Chowdhary lost to Indu Priya. Doubles: Sana Khan and Pankhuri bt the pair of Indu Priya and Shivani Kesar. |
