Hakeem Mohammed Aslam - younger brother of transport minister Mohammad Hakeem Yaseen, is likely joining the Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) headed by Yaseen as it is believed that the brothers have resolved the controversies erupted after the younger one got dissent himself from the PDF one year ago.
Sources told that the duo has come closer from past quite some time and resolved controversies erupted after Aslam quit the Peoples Democratic Front last year and joined Peoples Democratic Party as PDP zonal president Khansahab.
It is pertinent to mention here that Transport minister and MLA Khansahab Hakeem Mohammed Yaseen was in bitter opposition from the PDP in the constituency since his brother Hakeem Mohammed Aslam took over as PDP zonal president Khansahab.
The two leaders were seen openly leveled allegations to one another in public rallies in the Khansahab constituency of Budgam district besides sometimes clashes from their supportes were also witnessed in the public rallies.
Peoples Democratic Front was formed by a group of Independent MLA's in 2002 elections and particularly with the mastermind work of MLA Khansahab Hakeem Mohammed Yaseem who later became a chairman of the front.
However, the Younger brother of the MLA and transport minister got suddenly dissident himself from the front last year with the reasons best know to him and joined PDP. |
