SAMBA, April 20: Geology and Mining team today seized one tractor trolley for illegal mining near Basantar bridge at Samba.
The team led by District Mineral Officer (DMO) Samba Vishal Dogra during surprise visit to the river Basantar early morning hours today, seized one tractor trolley bearing registration No JK21C - 6183 near Basanter river NH bridge for illegal mining and violation of the norms.
DMO, Vishal Dogra said that if any person found mining near bridges of national highway and railway, the department will take strict action taken against them under law. |
