| Deputations call on PHE Minister | | |
Srinagar, August 25 – Several deputations called on Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Qazi Mohammad Afzal at Jammu yesterday and presented their demands for redressal.
The deputation from enclave Roop Nagar enclave put forth their demands which includes improvement in drinking water supply and power supply.
All J&K Federation of Diploma Engineers, Jammu deputation led by its chairman Mr. R. R. Sharma put forth their demands which include maintenance of cadre strength at every level i.e. JE, AEE & XEN, promotion to the post of Assistant Engineers after 15 years of service as Junior Engineer, enhancement of fixed TA from Rs. 30 PM to Rs. 2000 PM and restoration of entry grade for J.E. etc.
The deputation of J&K PHE Employees Union, Jammu led by Darshan Magotera Provincial President during their meeting discussed problems of the departmental employees.
Qazi Afzal gave a patient hearing to the deputationists and assured them that their genuine demands would be looked into sympathetically. |
