JP world School today celebrated its 2nd Annual Sports Day in the school premises. Students of the primary wing participated in different sports events on the occasion which included Tumbler Race, three legged race, reverse race, jalebi race and hurdle race.
Students on this occasion also displayed various yogaasanas showing the flexibility of their body and mental and physical equilibrium.
Earlier, the events were declared open by MP.Ch. Lal Singh, who was the chief guest on the occasion. He also hoisted the school flag followed by Oath taking ceremony in which captains of different houses took part.
On the occasion, he also gave away prizes to the best athletes. A cultural item was also performed by the senior students of the school. Vote of thanks was presented by Principal of the school, RA Solomon. |
