| MLA demands compensation to snow affected | | | Early Times Reporter

MLA Banihal Molvi Abdul Rashid urged upon the state government to release ex-gratia relief in favour of next keth and kin of the family of six members who lost their lives in the snow avalanche at Uglian Dhanmasta in Banihal tehsil.
Molvi Rashid along with R&B Minister Jugal Kishore yesterday had an aerial survey of entire Banihal constituency and interacted with the affected people at Mahu Bangit and banihal.
He urged upon the government to speed up rescue operation and to resort all link roads of Ramban district. He further appealed the government for the enhancement of free ration quota in draught affected areas. He demanded immediate restoration of electricity, water-supply and essential commodities in the snow hit areas. |
