Rs 1.66 Cr for additional block of JK House: Bandh

To provide adequate accommodation to patients, students and officers coming to Union Capital, an additional block with a capacity of 24 rooms would be constructed at the adjacent of JK House Chankayapuri, New Delhi for which Rs.1.66 crore has already been sanctioned by the government.
This was disclosed by the Minister of State for R&B Mr. Mohammad Khalil Bandh during his visit to New Delhi today.
He said that on completion of the building it would cater the needs of VIPs officials coming New Delhi on different assignments and patients. He said that one canal of land adjacent to JK House Chankayapuri New Delhi has been acquired by the department for the purposes.
Bandh also said that 80 two room tenement and 8 flats of three room tenement of residential flats for the employees working in JK House, New Delhi would also be constructed soon.
Resident Commissioner, New Delhi Mr. Malik and other officers of R&B department were accompanied the Minister during his visit.
