| MLA holds workers meet highlights achievements | | | Early Times Reporter Bishnah | Feb 10 In order to apprise of the development works executed during last five and half years of his tenure and the works under the construction and some others which were being taken up in the hand shortly, MLA Ashwani Sharma holds a workers meet here today. Speaking on the occasion, he said that presently, development works worth Rs 200 crore were under construction in constituency to a model constituency which has converted from most backward segment to a model constituency in 5 years time. He added that a degree college has been sanctioned, many new schools opened and upgrade while several bridges and link roads have been constructed several others were under construction a power house was under construction, the district hospital has been equipped with latest and modernized machinery while irrigation water was reaching the tail end. He told the workers that Treva-Kathar border road was under construction under CRF scheme at a cost of Rs 6 crore. Bandrali, Rial, Bumnal and Saidgarh bridges have been constructed while many link roads have been completed to link the villages with Bishnah. To overcome power crisis, a power station was under construction a Partap Singh Pora. A new building was constricted the sub district hospital in Bishnah which has been equipped with latest machinery. Efforts were also on to get Arnia PHC upgraded to sub district hospital and dispensaries converted into PHCs, he added. The workers lauded the works done by Sharma in his first stint as a MLA and hopped that in his next tenure he will take up the remaining works. |
