| PDP demands free ration for snow hit areas | | | Early Times Reporter

District President of People's Democratic Party (PDP) for District Doda Mr. Sheikh Mujeeb has demanded free ration for snow-hit far-flung areas of his district.
Referring to the heavy snowfall in various parts of District Doda, Mr. Sheikh Mujeeb has urged district administration to gear-up its official machinery and take effective steps for providing immediate relief to the aggrieved people in these areas. He has impressed upon the higher authorities to take stock of the prevailing situation in villages namely Kellar, Atkhar, Chiralla, Bhaderwah, Bhallesa and Thatri.
Mr. Sheikh Mujeeb has requested the higher authorities to restore electricity supply to the effected areas and ensure continued supply of safe drinking water to these areas. He has said that people are awaiting an impressive response from the state government.
