In yet another shocking incident, one Mohamed Nasib (29) son of former Dy SP Din Mohd Chodhary r/o lowers Gujjar Nagar reportedly shot four rounds from his house towards street causing panic in the locality.
Residents of the locality started running to safer places. After having information, a police team led by SHO Showkat Ahmed and in charge police post Tariq Ahmed under the supervision of SDPO city Swatantrta Arora swung into action. After vacating the area, they ghaeroed the house of the accused, sources said. After spending three hours to persuade the accused they finally overpowered him and recovered the weapon (12 bore single barrel gun) from his possess and after registering the case U/S 336 RPC police took the accused to hospital where it was found that the accused was under intoxication. |
