This Award, which is the highest honour in the global telecom sector, has been conferred on Mr. Mittal for his tremendous contribution to the development of India’s telecom sector. This landmark has catapulted Bharti Airtel into the club of top mobile operators in the world in terms of subscriber base. The 60 million customer base covers mobile as well as fixed line and broadband customers.
