| YNC rural president joins PDP | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 13 Youth National Conference (YNC) rural president Sham Lal Sharma today joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with his supporters after being associated with NC from last two decades. Addressing in a press conference here on Wednesday, Sharma criticized national conference leadership for ignoring the dedicated workers who always working for the welfare of the party. Accusing that groupism has started working in the NC, he said that from past twenty years he was associated with national conference without any personal gain and always wanted to serve the people of his area. "Those joining NC yesterday, have become MLC's but those working on the ground level from long time in the party have been neglected by the leadership of the party," he said. While maintaining that today he has regret on leaving National Conference after being associated with the party for a long time, he said that this party has no respect for the dedicated workers which only work to make the party strong on the ground level. He however hailed the efforts of the Peoples Democratic Party patron Mufti Mohammed sayeed's for making every possible effort in the development of the state during his tenure as a Chief Minister of the state. PDP Schedule Caste backward classes chairman Hans Raj Chargotra who was present on the occasion said that the joining of Sham Lal Sharma will definitely making PDP strong in rural areas. Various others joined PDP on the occasion included Sarpanch ,Gorata Jagdev Singh, Sarpanch Rajpora Janak Singh, Prav Dayal Sharma Gain Chand, Bodh Raj Baghat, Bhutto Khan and others. |
