The president and Sr. Vice President of Jammu State Morcha (JSM) Prof. Virender Gupta and Abdul Rouf Ganai have strongly condemned the reported move by the Congress-PDP led govt to build a Migrant Muslim Colony on the outskirts of Jammu City by transferring 623 kanals of forest land to JDA for the purpose. In a fault statement they said that, a PIL has been entertained by divisional bench of J&K High Court added as said govt floats directions of Supreme Court of India not to convert and forest land into residential colony.
As per party hand out, both the leaders have said, that it cant be understood why govt. wants separate migrant colonies for Kishmari Hindus and Muslims. This move by the Congress lead state govt. exposes the communal credential of the ruling parties. This further establishes the anti-Jammu attitude of the congress govt. in view of the fact that the 1965 nd 1971 Chamb-refugee are still living in make-shift and worn out tents and poor living conditions, till date. |
