| Modern education with proper guidance can open job market: Charak | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 14 Underlining the need for imparting quality education coupled with skill and knowledge the Minister for Higher Education . Gulchain Singh Charak today said that modern education and proper guidance would enable our youth to excel in the global market. This he said in an interactive session with MBA students in business school of Jammu university here this afternoon. He said that no doubt, our business managers have contributed a lot for achieving high national growth at around 9.5% but inflation rate is a bit high and that by imparting value based education to young business managers can go a long way in striking a balance between the growth and inflation rates. Charak stressed upon the business students of the institution that they should under take entrepreneurship in the generation of hydro electric power and exploration of rich minerals as there was tremendous potential of these resources in our state. He lauded the role of administration of business school for achieving 100% placement of their human resource in national and multi national companies. Lauding the role of Vice Chancellor Jammu University Padam Shree Prof. Amitab Mattoo for his outstanding contribution in the field of education, Charak said that it was the dedication of Prof. Mattoo that Jammu University was now ranking among one of the best University of our country. While answering the questions putforth by the business students during interaction session. Charak said that it was the demand of the day that the traditional system of education should be changed with the growing demand of market to produce better human resource. He said that the government is giving thrust to introduce job-oriented courses in every educational institution to provide ample opportunities to the students to choose their future. Earlier, Minister inaugurates the State of Art Computer Lab in the Business School. VC Prof. Amitab Mattoo was also present on the occasion. Director Business School University of Jammu Prof. Keshew Sharma, Prof. Ashok Aima and Prof. J. R. Dhatotra were present during interactive session. |
