Rebel BSP leaders in touch with Sat Pal
Plan to form a new organization

The rebel leaders of Madhya Pradesh,Himachal Pradesh,aided by close relations of BSP founder,late Kanshi Ram,plan to float a new organization parallel to the party headed by Ms Mayawati.And these rebel leaders are said to be in touch with Dr Sat Pal,who recently quit the BSP after severe differences surfaced between him and the followers of
Ms Mayawati.They plan to associate Dr Sat Pal in their new venture.
Already Dr Sat Pal has begun wooing a large number of party men to his fold.Inside reports said that BSP rebel leaders from Himachal Pradesh,Madhya Pradesh and the close relations of BSP supremo,late Kanshi Ram,are in touch with Dr Sat Pal,for forming an organisation parallel to the BSP.
Though after the split in the State unit of the BSP Mr Yashpal Bhagat,President of the party is being assisted by senior leaders from the BSP high command in shecking further erosion in the organisation,Dr Sat Pal,has succeeded in receiving support from a large section of BSP supporters.
Close associates of Dr Sat Pal,said here today that the way their leader(Sat Pal) was isolated by the party general secretary and those incharge of the organisation in Jammu and Kashmir the BSP may draw a blank in the next election.They said that in 2002 the
BSP won one seat and the winning candidate had already
joined the PDP.
Party sources said that Dr Sat Pal is also in touch with several prominent leaders belonging to the upper castes so that the new organisation could field candidates in several constituencies in the Jammu region during the next election.
Reports said that senior BSP leaders close to Ms Mayawati had suggested to the UP Chief Minister to have a meeting with Dr Sat Pal so that he was motivated to return to the partyfold failing which the BSP would lose whatever ground it has in the Jammu
region.According to these reports feelers had been sent to Dr Sat pal who is yet unwilling to return to the BSP because he has felt hurt by the "shabby" treatment that was meted out to him.
