| Jugal oversees relief rescue operations in Doda | | | Early Times Reporter

Minister for R&B Mr. Jugal Kishore accompanied by Chief Engineer R&B, Jammu Mr. Nazir Ahmad oversaw the relief and rescue operations in Doda district which was badly affected by recent heavy snowfall ranging from two and half feet to six feet. He said that most of the roads connecting Doda with adjacent villages have been cleared and power and drinking water supply has been restored.
The worst affected areas include Bhaderwah, Bhallesa, Kishtwar, Chatroo and upper reaches of Banihal.
Kishore directed for opening up all roads within a week's period. For this purpose, multi-utility machinery has been procured for snow clearance and also for road construction works in summer months. |
